Our mission
Grief doesn’t keep office hours. SoulMender offers continuous, conversational support for people navigating loss and mental health challenges — so no one has to carry the hardest moments alone.
We support outpatient clients — whether in therapy, working with a coach, or healing on their own — with 24/7 access and compassionate guidance grounded in clinical wisdom.

01
Grief Resonance Engine™
Gentle presence in your hardest moments
SoulMender senses grief patterns through text, tone, and timing — offering attuned responses that reflect your emotional state. Whether you’re silent, spiraling, or seeking, it stays with you: empathetic, steady, and non-judgmental.
02
Memory Weaving Protocol™
Your story matters — and evolves
Loss often shatters linear time and identity. This protocol reconstructs meaning by weaving together your journal entries, dreams, and voice notes into a coherent symbolic arc. Grounded in Jungian integration and narrative therapy, it supports the inner work of grief: remembrance without re-traumatization.
03
Healing Ally Dashboard™
Empowering caregivers with insight, not overload
Built for outpatient support, this tool equips therapists and coaches with contextual snapshots — surfacing shifts in mood, emotional stuck points, and moments of opening — so they can meet you with clarity and compassion.

Amit Jai Kadam is a seasoned Data and AI leader with over two decades of experience in data & AI technology, product management, customer research, and systems transformation. As Co-Founder of SoulMender AI, he brings together values-based leadership, engineering expertise, and training in psychological frameworks — including foundations in depth and transpersonal psychology — to drive innovation in AI technology for emotional healing and personal transformation.
AJ’s personal journey navigating grief, loss, and healing fuels his mission to reimagine how generative and agentic AI technologies can support emotional healing, inner growth, and well-being. He is especially passionate about developing AI models infused with language that heals the human mind, expanding access to good therapy, and empowering therapists with tools that enhance their impact and presence.
At SoulMender AI, AJ leads product vision, strategic partnerships, and fundraising, while overseeing the AI roadmap, guiding responsible model deployment, and shaping market positioning to align with both user needs and therapeutic value. He also fosters a team culture rooted in trust, collaboration, innovation, and a commitment to building AI that truly serves human well-being.
April Ainsworth is an entrepreneur, data scientist, and applied researcher with a rare combination of technical depth, behavioral insight, and a storyteller's sensibility. As Co-Founder of SoulMender AI, she brings over 25 years of experience in e-commerce systems, data architecture, and customer intelligence — alongside a Master of Science in Applied Data Science from New College of Florida. With a foundation in both social sciences and machine learning, April designs emotionally intelligent, healing-centered AI systems that integrate human experience with advanced data modeling.
In her personal experience, April has benefited profoundly from therapy — as both an entrepreneur and a parent. Her time in therapy has taught her the deep and lasting value that quality support can offer during life's most challenging seasons. This lived insight informs her conviction that emotionally attuned technology can support resilience and connection.
At SoulMender AI, she leads the development of behavioral algorithms, data pipelines, and AI evaluation frameworks — ensuring every model is grounded in ethical design, scientific rigor, and human empathy.
Ellen Radha Katz is a licensed psychotherapist and certified hypnotherapist with over four decades of clinical experience, specializing in trauma, addiction, and process addictions. As a former music therapist and lifelong practitioner of integrative healing, Ellen brings a deep understanding of how emotional, spiritual, and somatic practices can support transformation and long-term recovery.
Her work bridges clinical psychology with creative expression, mindfulness, and transpersonal approaches — making her uniquely aligned with SoulMender AI’s mission to build emotionally intelligent, healing-centered AI experiences. Ellen maintains a bi-coastal private practice in Chicago and California and has taught extensively at universities and adult education centers. Her guidance ensures that SoulMender’s emotional frameworks are grounded in ethical, trauma-informed, and holistic mental health principles.

Over four decades, he has advised global institutions, scaled international businesses, and mentored impact-driven startups across fintech, telecom, and policy.
At SoulMender AI, Bill brings deep expertise in responsible innovation, business model integrity, and systems design — guiding our mission to build emotionally intelligent, healing-centered AI that fosters trust, inclusion, and long-term societal impact.
